For those of you who don't know what the Price Club is, it is a membership warehouse discount store. I would imagine that Sam's Club and other similar stores might have the model for that price (but I only know about Price Club). Enjoy! I'm not sure we're referring to the same thing. The Critical Technologies Plan I have is a document prepared for Congress, that discusses technologies the military is convinced are necessary for future weapons (without revealing too many details that would compromise the R&D). The areas that the military feel are important are: - - Semiconductor materials & microelectronics - - Software engineering - - High performance computing - - Machine intelligence & robotics - - Simulation & modelling - - Photonics - - Sensitive radars - - Passive sensors - - Signal & image processing - - Signature control (i.e. stealth technology) - - Weapon system environment (i.e. next generation avionics) - - Data fusion (i.e. providing more integration of sensor & control data) - - Computational fluid dynamics (to study airflow) - - Air breathing propulsion - - Pulsed power (i.e. electrical power that can be used with directed energy weapons) - - Hypervelocity projectiles - - High energy density materials (i.e. like Chobham armor) - - Composite materials - - Superconductivity - - Biotechnology - - Flexible manufacturing Also, just out of curiousity, what does GENSER mean ?? If you want to subscribe something other than the account the mail is coming from, such as a local redistribution list, then append that address to the "subscribe" command; for example, to subscribe "local-skunk-works": subscribe skunk-works-digest local-skunk-works@your.domain.net To unsubscribe, send mail to the same address, with the command: unsubscribe skunk-works-digest in the body. Administrative requests, problems, and other non-list mail can be sent to either "skunk-works-digest-owner@harbor.ecn.purdue.edu" or, if you don't like to type a lot, "prm@ecn.purdue.edu". A non-digest (direct mail) version of this list is also available; to subscribe to that instead, replace all instances of "skunk-works-digest" in the commands above with "skunk-works". Back issues are available for anonymous FTP from harbor.ecn.purdue.edu, in /pub/skunk-works/digest/vNN.nMMM (where "NN" is the volume number, and "MMM" is the issue number).
