The best listing of ASCII airplane art is the list compiled by Paul Tomblin (ab401@freenet.carleton.ca) and Dan Grunloh (grunloh@vmd.cso.uiuc.edu) and posted to rec.aviation.misc. The last one I have seen was dated 25 May 1993, so there is probably a newer list. If you cannot find a newer list anywhere, let me know, and I'll send you a copy of my old list. I received an email from somebody associated with CBS news that indicates that The CBS News Report on the Testors SR-75 and the Groom Lake land grab will air tonite on theCBS Nightly News (With Dan Rather and Connie Chung). As always, who knows if it will really happen. I'm only passing on rumors and information from people who have been accurate about this thing in the past, but who knows if at the final moment some editor won't delay it again. Also, the ABC show hasn't aired yet. Who knows when this one will. I would keep watching. I just received word that ABC will air their segment, probably near the tail-end of Peter Jennings, tonight! So you'll have to flip and pray they're not on at the same instant, or watch one and tape the other. Here in NZ we get ABC nightly news (possibly slightly delayed) airing in the middle of the day - I was able to catch the SR-75 segment about 5 minutes ago. Very interesting and quite non-skeptical coverage of the story by ABC. It's great to see the model and airframe everyone's been talking about. -- C. - -- Craig Harding C.R.Harding@massey.ac.nz ACME BBS: +64 6 3551342 V.32bis "I don't know about God, I just think we're handmade" - Murmur ------------------------------ End of Skunk Works Digest V4 #58 ******************************** To subscribe to skunk-works-digest, send the command: subscribe skunk-works-digest in the body of a message to "listserv@harbor.ecn.purdue.edu".
