My copy says $139 and $169 for those options, respectively. They wanted something like $35 a year. He asked if I wanted it, and I didn't go for it. I must have been nuts, So, ask your local aerospace / mechancial academic! The facility is supposedly built into the mountains. At the location where the facility is rumored to be, USGS 7.5' topographic maps indicate a convergence of dirt roads to a mine site labeled "Kelly Mine". A friend told me that when he was in the military, they would often use abandoned mines as command posts during exercises. All the images are gray scale. If you're desperate for the images and can't wait until they're transferred from the incoming directory on harbor.ecn.purdue.edu or can't FTP, I can e-mail them to you. Althought the incoming directory isn't readable you might be able to pick them up if you specify the file name exactly as above. -- Rich - -- Between stimulus and response is the will to choose. ------------------------------------------------------------------ IRC: _Rich_ Rich Thomson Internet: rthomson@dsd.es.com Fractal Freak ------------------------------ From: clark@acs.bu.edu (Jeff Clark) Date: Fri, 4 Feb 94 02:06:28 -0500 Subject: AW&ST I think I should add that in my message about AW&ST for $35 to college engineering instructors, that was the price then, in early 1991 or so. Jeff Clark clark@acs.bu.edu ------------------------------ End of Skunk Works Digest V5 #2 ******************************* To subscribe to skunk-works-digest, send the command: subscribe skunk-works-digest in the body of a message to "listserv@harbor.ecn.purdue.edu". If you want to subscribe something other than the account the mail is coming from, such as a local redistribution list, then append that address to the "subscribe" command; for example, to subscribe "local-skunk-works": subscribe skunk-works-digest local-skunk-works@your.domain.net To unsubscribe, send mail to the same address, with the command: unsubscribe skunk-works-digest in the body. Administrative requests, problems, and other non-list mail can be sent to either "skunk-works-digest-owner@harbor.ecn.purdue.edu" or, if you don't like to type a lot, "prm@ecn.purdue.edu". A non-digest (direct mail) version of this list is also available; to subscribe to that instead, replace all instances of "skunk-works-digest" in the commands above with "skunk-works". Back issues are available for anonymous FTP from harbor.ecn.purdue.edu, in /pub/skunk-works/digest/vNN.nMMM (where "NN" is the volume number, and "MMM" is the issue number).
