While the other services, notably the Army, have decided to publicly fund a number of programs that previously had Special Access Program status, the Air Force has added the following - -new- Special Access Programs to the fiscal year 1994 budget. These programs were not in the 1993 budget, and the exact costs and goals of these programs are highly classified: Program Element Description Category - --------------- ---------------- ------------ 0305172F "combined advanced applications" strategic 0207160F "tri-service standoff attack tactical missile" 0207431F "tactical air intelligence tactical system activities" 0208021F "electronic combat support" tactical 0301313F "defense dissemination system" intelligence Of these, the only one I know any details about is the "defense dissemination system, which is designed to provide equipment so that tactical commanders can utilize spy satellite images, as part of the TENCAP effort.
