Greg if you are tired of deleting just imagine how I feel getting about 500 messages daily. Oh, forgot to mention I'm unemployed and on about 12 mailing lists. My micron mesh filter is always activated. BTW, there is a discussion on the UASR list re B-2, antigravity, need to know, SR-71 flight characteristics, etc. Since I'm an amateur in this area I do not feel qualified to comment on or to cross-post to Skunk-Works. The only association I've had with SR-71 and other intelligence platforms has been as one of the back-channel data/message processors in Vietnam, Thailand, Naples, Italy, Panama, and Fort Huachuca. Here's a quote from James Bamford's _The Puzzle Palace, A Report on NSA, America's Most Secret Agency_, "The SR-71 Blackbird, named for its sooty, heat-resistant titanium skin, which glows cherry-red as it flashes across the heavens at Mach 3.32, the successor to the ill-fated U-2 can photograph 100,000 square miles of the earth's surface in less than an hour from a height of more than 85,000 feet. At the same time, its package of super advanced SIGINT sensors can chart electronic battlefields and peer deep over a border with side-looking radar." Published in 1982, an exciting and informative read for though of us trained to use the phonetic Tango Kilo for the caveat T....T K.....E in the bowels of the most secret communications facilities. The UASR (UFOs, Alien and Space Research) list discussion above includes about 10 to 12 messages. Several cite URLs on Befield-Brown, antigravity, and such which you may or may not find interesting. Anyone with a modicum of interest may e-mail me privately for copies. Terry (crack boink - oops, that's my falling off that fence I was sitting on :-) - --------- G&G wrote: > > Terry W. OK, feeling a little better today - sorry for the bit of rudeness yesterday. Posting an inquiry about an unusual sighting is one thing, but when it includes rampant speculation of UFOian nature - well, that crosses the line IMO. Somehow I have a hard time believing that USAF and/or Skunkworks is testing a technology to disable the nation's power grid by flying a Lear jet down the streets at 35 mph to mow down utility poles with it's electromagnetic wings... :) Greg %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %% %% %% Reality is for People Who %% %% Can't Handle Simulation %% %% %% %% habu@cyberramp.net %% %% gdfieser@hti.com %% %% %% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 7 Dec 1998 13:34:20 -0500 From: owl@owlsnest.com Subject: Is Your Web Site A Secret?
