The only difference now is that the (very) long name was changed to a shorted name of: "Skunk-works Discussion List". Instead, the actual sender's email name and email address should be shown in the "From:" header. In my case, that should be: From: Andreas Gehrs-Pahl instead of: From: Skunk-works Discussion List which is currently shown for every list email from everyone. >You can't get both a regular AND a digest to the same address and you can't >post to the digest list obviously. >Note - I'm checking with Mailman support to see if we can support this >somehow without major effort. That would be nice, especially because the web site's "Downloadable version" isn't working correct. It consists of a *.gz archive files that contains another *.gz archive file, which finally contains the *.txt file, but the second *.gz archive file is also named "2014.txt". Also this file only contains the first four emails of the new list, and doesn't seem to be updated with newer posts (at least not so far). If subscribing to both, the individual list emails as well as the digest, isn't possible, how can I subscribe with another email address -- rather than changing to a different email address -- so I can receive the Digest emails on that second email address? The web site doesn't seem to have an option for a (new) person to subscribe to the list. I will subscribe with a different email address and set it to receive the Digest. This should take care of that problem! Again why you can't filter based on the [skunk-works] in the subject confuses me. As to the From that's been reset again as well you should now see your addresses. Checking with support it is NOT possible to send the digest and regular emails to the same address, Please remember this software IS NOT majordomo and has different features and limitations. Majordomo is 20+ year old code and no longer well supported for newer OS's hence the change. As to the digests - I'm not sure what you mean by broken they what you're looking at are Archives not digests in a compressed archive form - if you want to see them individually you'll need to get the file and uncompressed it. I can't change that behavior that's what it does for archives. Digests are different thing than achieves which is what you're looking at. You should have received a welcome message with how to make changes to your settings but the URL is: The web page for users of your mailing list is: http://eagle.netwrx1.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/skunk-works You can also make such adjustments via email by sending a message to: skunk-works-request@netwrx1.org with the word `help' in the subject or body (don't include the quotes), and you will get back a message with instructions.
